As someone of Asian extraction I always cringe at the awful, AWFUL clichés and stereotypes that they have of Asian people. The women are always May Lee or May Ling, the parents are always overbearing and pushy, the accents are always awful, they're often good at kung fu - the list goes on. This cracks me up. The other day we were out for a walk near our apartment. There are heaps of new shops springing up nearby and The Canadian suddenly said: "Hey isn't that the guy from Burn Notice?" I stopped and blinked.

We've been watching Generation Kill (I think it's ok, The Canadian hasn't been sold on it at all), I watched the first episode of Fear Itself called "The Sacrifice" which was ok, but not that great.

Over the weekend, I managed to catch up a few series. They've cancelled Moonlight and Women's Murder Club so those were series enders as well as season enders.

I was watching 'When Trumpets Fade' which is a so-so "made for television" war movie starring Ron Eldard. It's only so-so but what's cool is that I recognised a few of the different actors :) ( Oooh that's so and so )
